All HTCSense Customers Must Download Their Data Before April 30 [Updates]

If you're an HTC user and have been using HTCSense.com for backups, pay close attention. HTC has announced that the HTCSense website will be shutting down soon, due to a complete overhaul. This will also include a complete wiping of all user data from the website. Users who have been using HTCSense.com to backup and sync contacts, call history and messages, must download their data before April 30. After this date, all data stored on HTCSense.com will be deleted, and there will be no way to restore it. In order to download your data, go to the HTCSense website and log in to your account. Under the Account Overview section, click on "Download". The data will then be downloaded to your computer as a ZIP file. If you need a different solution for backup while the site is down, HTC recommends that you visit the Google Play Store and download a suitable app. Alternatively, users can wait for the new and improved version of the HTC website, and commence their backup at that time. HTC promises that its users will be "among the first to know" when the new website is launched. Do you use HTCSense.com for backup? How will this affect you? Source: HTCSense.com
